  1. Four Royal Marines murdered a navy rating by punching and kicking him as he lay on the floor in a bar, a court has heard.

Kyle Bartlett was also hit with a chair in the attack at the Walkabout bar in Portsmouth last May, it was heard.

The 21-year-old, of Bordon, Hampshire, later died in hospital.

Ben Scott, 22, Mark Clarke, 22, both of Southsea, James Taylor, 26, of Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and Luke Morton, 21, of Greater Manchester, deny murder.

    cowards :x
  2. Thats pretty sad. 4 on 1, real brave.
  3. Sickening, more so given the role the whole AF play in the worlds theatre, you would think more espirite de corps would be prevalent amongst the whole of the forces, without this inter service rivalry coming to this sort of end.

Are the "marines" actual marines? or gobshites going through basic? i assume they are actual given the location. which makes it even sadder.

Be interesting to know the full story.
  4. msr

  5. And in common with Arrse policy regarding ongoing legal action where Forces personnel are involved.
