Royal Marine Landing Craft Spec Qual Class 1

Has anyone got a good photo of the RM Landing Craft Spec Qual worn on the blues. It is the LC in a wreath surmounted by a crown for first class.

I need it for a project I'm working on - thanks

Duties of an LC4.
The LC4 shall be responsible for starting outboards, greasing, degreasing, chipping paint, repainting, putting out fenders, pulling in fenders, mooring craft, maintaining a lookout at all times that RM craft are at sea, making wets.
At no time will the LC4 act as coxswain.

I didn't think there was such a thing as a '4'. My bet is that this is from a private company who simply make these things without understanding how it all works.

From 87-08 I have never seen or heard of a class 4 SQ/TQ. It may have existed in Corps history, or just been created?
Just a thought is a PW"4" a GD Marine?:thumleft: Why have RL, ML2 and ML1 but no ML3/4? Besides I know for a fact HW4 did not exist, between 87-08 anyway. Maybe a LC4 is a straight LCDC3?

Hi,
Don’t think these are Class 4 SQ.

I was told these are the new type SQ badge coming into use.

No stars/crown needed so same badge whatever grade you are.

Cuts down on cost and saves money in the manufacturing process as well.
