Royal Air Force officer honoured for work with Afghan locals

Ministry of Defence said:
Flight Lieutenant Sttevei Atalla has been awarded the Queen's Commendation for Valuable Service in the latest Operational Honours and Awards List for her work connecting the local Afghan population with the Afghan Government.

"Sttevei" ???

Did her parents suffer from a stutter and are her siblings called Dwayne, Chardonnay and Chavcunt?

How very RAF!
Having read the MoD story, it would seem that she did a decent enough job, but it is unclear what she did that was "over and above" what might be expected in order to be put forward for a decoration. However, I am gratified that she saw fit to commend the company she was embedded in, I'd be interested to know if the Coy Comd or BG Comd had a hand in recommending her, if so it might add a bit more credibility than if she was just put up by the RAF CoC.
