Roll Pin Belt

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Can anyone advise me of the procedure for belt kit and a hippo pad onto a roll pin belt, as the belt does not have the slots that the plastic tabs on the webbing pouches usually slot into.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

  2. Use you original belt but sew on the roll pin belt ends on to each end, so you have belt with all the required parts with the roll pin facility regards JJ

Or, cut the ends of a normal belt, so there's enough of it to fit all your pouches on etc, and tape that to the inside on the roll pin belt, about 6 strips of tape leaving gaps to actually fit them on. That works quite well..
  4. Or buy a roll pin buckle from KM and replace the black nexus buckle on the issue belt. No cutting, no sewing, no taping
  5. Remove old belt buckle (male and female), stitch on full roll pin belt to exsisting belt (with pouch loops)
  6. The roll pin from Survival Aids fits the issue belt, and seems to work fine.

No mad cutting up of belts and what not. Just take the black push clip off, and replace with roll pin.

    Or... get a COP vest.

    Or wait for PECOC.
  8. Violence with knives should sort this problem.
