Roll of Honour, Trinity College Dublin

They should be more publicly honoured - on a permanent monument with all their names inscribed on it. They died in British service but they laid down their lives to defend Ireland. Had the Nazis had got this far, Irish neutrality would not have saved us, it might have given them something to laugh about for a few minutes before unleashing the Luftwaffe and the Fallschirmjager but that's about all.
