Now that a few people seem to be getting limbered up to deal with the Third Shock Army deploying through Poland, I thought I'd update my intel on the ТÑеÑÑÑ ÑдаÑÐ½Ð°Ñ Ð°ÑмиÑ. One commander seems to have been a pretty good sort - Rodion Malinovsky ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodion_Malinovsky ). From the Wiki account, he must have been a reasonably formidable commander and pretty astute all-rounder to have survived the suspicions pointed his way. However, the stuff I've found on the web offers little more insight into his character. Does anybody know of a site that gives a bit more detail, such as what his troops thought of him, or whether he had a family?
