Hey, i know they doesn't seem to be many people on this forum that like the RMP's but would appeciate any help

I just got back from sitting my BARB and basic skills text and managed to score 64 on the barb and above average on the two literacy and numberacy tests although cause i have only got a GCSE C grade in maths and only a OCR level 3 key skills in communication not a GCSE C grade in english they informed me that the job isn't exactly open to me.. but they plan to send of my application to the RMP and see whether they will accept me on the basis of my current qualifications and to remain hopefully.. anybody know percentage wise what my chances are? so i have an idea of what to expect..

From what you've written above I doubt if your numberacy skills are up to figuring-out what a percentage is anyway.

So, you're RMP material. Congratulations, Mr Nick Hunt. Soon to be Cpl Nick Hunt. Sure you don't want to change your first name to Michael?

I don't really see the helpful part to your reply and am actually a graduate from university and my numberacy skills are just fine.

Thanks
Which university and why didn't you mention it in your first post? Oh and its numeracy, not numberacy. Numbskull. The fact that you can't use a spelling checker speaks volumes too.

I didnt see it as relevant since you do not need a degree in Business mangement and marketing to join the RMP last time i checked anyways and well done pointing a spelling mistake.. although i did already admitt its one of my flaws congratulations to you!!!

Cannot understand why anyone would want to be in the RMP unless they have a personality defect - why not be either a real soldier or a real police officer?

Oddly enough, I too was raised in the North-east, but left Further Education after a year of Sixth Form.

Thats rather odd and fair enough cool.. i went on to university and managed to graduate with a 2:1 although mainly went through persuasion from friends and the finance that was just threw at you to spend on booze and holidays and any student that tells you different is lying or spends way to much money on books and pencils.. I just have an urge to join the RMP or civilian police.. if you really have a problem with this am not bothered cause opnions aint facts take them in and let them go

No need for sarcasm. Spotting a spelling mistake is easy, a graduate from even the meanest red brick socialist enclave should be able to do it and correct his or her own texts.

I don't think anyone has a problem with what you want to do with regard to joining the army, but you come across as a cocky twat and people respond accordingly.

I have no problems at all and indeed wish you luck with your aspirations. I'm just a little dismayed that a 2:1 graduate should demonstrate such a poor level of literacy.

I think it all comes down to the type of person you are .. I just keep this quick and short basically am type of person when comes to online forums or social networking sites to not look too much into my spelling aslong the general point can be understoof although you may be different on the otherhand if its something of importantance such as a letter or assignment whatever then i would take my care to ensure the spelling was correct.. anyways on that note am off the gym..

In all hohnesty thanks for the posts its been rather enjoyable beats sitting bored waiting to goto the gym

The type of person I am, is one who can speak English. If you are able to learn from honest criticism then that's a bonus. Unfortunately the bulk of your post above is unintelligible to humans other than those of the chav sub-species and I am therefore led to believe that your tenure at university was as a lab specimen. If you graduated, then God help us, you are as articulate as a Monday morning turdfish in the stream to the municipal maceration facility for treatment prior ejection into the sea.
