Local antiques dealer called me round this morning to look at some kit he had purchased. Looks like an RMP Officer recently popped his cloggs and the rellies are liquifying assets. - 1 x RMP Mess Kit , very good condition, mid '70s quality. - 1 x No.1s with overalls. - 1 x Service Dress. - 1 x Sam Browne and frog. - 1 pr of Mess Wellies ( approx size 10) - Misc - RMP arm bands, hairy shirt and other ebay trivia. Hard to judge but the bloke was small, I'd say 5' 10", waist 31"- 32", chest 38"- as judged from the blues and Same Browne. I'm tempted to buy the lot and knock it out , Question is, how? I was thinking of putting the SD, Blues, Wellies and Sam Browne on consignment at RMAS but does anyone have a contact for the RMP Regt shop? Would be good to see the kit recycled back to a loving user Also - odd bit of kit in the mix - looks like crew p*ss bags - clear plastic bag with what looks like a chemical swatch inside with an appropriate opening ( and sealing) device for one's knob! I will get the NSN and see if I can grab one from the dealer for the gallery.
