Fijian British Army soldier killed in Iraq

A Fiji citizen working in the British Army is the first Fijian to lose his life in Iraq.

Private Pita Tukutukuwaqa died after his armoured vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb in Bagdad. He was a member of the Black Watch group which had just arrived in Iraq last Friday.

The deceased family members were informed by the British Army Support officer of the British High Commission, today.
