Stay clear from this mail order wine COMPANY.

http://www.1855.com/

They fail to deliver on a very regular basis and their operations seem to be going very badly.

So, DO NOT order anything from them, NO MATTER WHAT AMOUNT OF PUBLICITY THEY DO and don't end up with a 600 euros hole in your pocket like I did....

600 Euros? What were you doing, buying it by the tanker?

Don't you ?
Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon £26 + VAT per case of 6. Me sorted.

Canaletto Pinot Grigio £23 + VAT per case of 6. Mem Sahib sorted

Both at Bookers so generally buy about 5 cases of each, no storage for a tanker but what a wonderful idea; room temperature and cold running wine in the house! Now that could be a winner.

Another company to be warey of:

Pierroth wines, they sell direct by having Tupperware style wine tastings. The wines are very over priced and once Pierroth have your contact details they are like terriers, they wont let you go and constantly phone up and badger you to take an order. They are not dodgy though, as far as I know.
