how crap cant the system be and unjust. i brought my own house and moved into it a few months ago with 3 years left to serve, 3 months later i am posted 15 miles away. not worth living so i commute daily only to be told that i will only get £1.66 a day to cover fuel costs (actually costs double that). i have now found out that a friend who has retained his quater even though he is posted 15 miles away gets RESPOD at nearly £5 a day. my pay office said unlucky as i chose to move into my own house and that if i was in a quarter they would pay me more. the army posted me and now i have to pay finacially for it. do they expect you to live in a quater cheaply until you get out, another case of discrimanation.
