Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. From what I can gather the new European Constitution gives all the right to strike. Is this correct or just tabloid sensationilism (might 've made that up) how will this affect the British Army if it is true?

The firemen can always step in whilst we all stand around the braziers.....

  3. They'd probably be happy to, as a heck of a lot of them are ex forces themselves.

  4. yeh can imagine them being happy in Iraq, bos, FI etc

  5. The right to strike?

Had to say NO, its more or less mutiny in any scenario.

If people are not in the Armed forces to protect our country and its interests, then why are they here?

Cant really down tools on the battlefield now can we, although it would make a good monty python sketch.
