Making the long trek south for Remembrance Sunday and will catch the Parade for the first time - where's a good place for a pint before/afterwards?

edited to say: I imagine Sharpey's one of them F coy losers. They never know where theyre supposed to be, hence the fact theyre F coy and not G.

Poppy Scotland - for a good viewing point, head to Bank tube. Show starts at Mansion house at 11 so you may be hard pressed to find a pub before then. Plenty of drinking holes round Bank/Mansion House during lunch break, then whole lot starts return trip from Embankment at 1300.
Enjoy it and here's to decent weather.

If you fancy a cheap pint in a bloody nice pub check out 'chandos' on william iv street near trafalgar square. Its a Samuel Smiths jobby, Â£2.10-Â£2.50 a pint.
