Riggies on You Tube

#1
For all you old Sappers especially you riggies, I have put on You Tube a video clip from my Commanders Course at Hamelin from 1986/87 with the old M2 rigs. Look under "M2 Amphibious Bridging Vehicles", enjoy !

"people crash into each other...it's funny really, but it can be avoided"

If I had £1 for every windscreen I changed due to anchor rash

That brought back memories :D

Im lucky i qualified on both M2 and M3.

Been away from 23 Sqn a good few years now - is it still the done thing in the Regt to hate the Riggies?

I wasn't a Riggie, but REME attached. 28 was my first unit, and the majority of RE guys there were cracking blokes.

"everyone hates Riggies"......do I detect a touch of envy there from 'normal' Field Engineers who didn't share the koudos of the Riggies :) Stands back and awaits incomning

BTW ... the M2's were a cnut to work on...I think my memories may be slightly rose tinted!
