Rifle Brigade Wall Shields

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I'm looking for Rifle Brigade Regimental Wall Shields to commemorate my Grandfather who I recently found out fought at El Alamein.

After being let down by those at dextercrest.co.uk (otherwise known as badgeofpride.co.uk and shipscrest.co.uk), to the point where I am going to have to take the bloke to court to get all of my money back, I am left still trying to find these shields. I have found blazer badges, cufflinks etc, but no-one seems to have the shields. I've spoken to the people at the Rifles Museum in Winchester but they couldn't help.

If anyone knows where I can get good quality wall shields from, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know. In the meantime, I'd recommend avoiding the websites mentioned.

    Cheers!!

  2. try the RHQ or PRI. My one still has all the old regiments in store.

  3. In a similar vein, I'm looking for a NITAT plaque to replace my boss's one which was nicked from our building. Any help appreciated.

  4. Keen to hear more about your experience with dextercrest. Did it ever get resolved. I have had 5 different excuses now as to failure to deliver.

  5. I just resolved my issue with delivery from dextercrest / badge of pride by through PalPay and got a full refund.

  6. Dear Sir,
Dextercrest Inc. regretfully have to inform you that we are not in the business of supplying items to Hat units. This company believes that weakness is contagious and no longer wishes to have anything to do with your unit. Come back and see us if any of your blokes pass All Arms.

I saw this site recently whilst perusing the tinterweb

    www.trooperbones.co.uk

They specialise in wall plaques. No idea if they do what you're looking for, but may be worth giving them a call
