Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I was talking to Mrs CD the other night. And we come to the conclusion that Xmas TV listings were very dire this year. ITV on xmas day was just awful.
I can only vouch for Freeview boys and girls because we ain't got Sky etc.....

    High lights were:
    The 39 steps
A matter of loaf and death.
    Lead Balloon.
    Queen's Speech

    Low lights:
    "list and best of" shows
    Strictly Come dancing
    X Factor

    Any views of Xmas TV?

  2. Best on were

Wallace and Gromit (even the reruns)
    Gavin and Stacey special
    Top gear Vietnam Special
    Doctor Who
    Royal Family special

    Rest a load of pap

  3. It was complete garbage - thank goodness for books! and The 39 Steps was not as good as it should have been - despite the lovely Rupert Penry- whatsit

  4. It was pants. Thank god for the invention of "the pub"
