Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Well lets not forget the tax incentives either as with any business, there are write downs for new stock, seed, infrastructure not to mention fuel. Then any subsidy payments as well.

    1. The majority of Brexiteers have said that from day one as we at least recognise reality. As I have said many times there will be a price and it will be worth it. All the government has to do is ensure the EU don't **** us over again and make it extra expensive.

    2. The "tail" as you put it, saw the problems and we're not scared to say them out loud. Brussels OTOH have their head stuck firmly in the sand ignoring the problems that are killing their "dream"!

All this has been said and covered on numerous occasions but as usual you refuse to acknowledge the potentially fatal problems the EU has.

  3. Don't say things like that. The Croutons and remainers are, no doubt, really happy about the EU being able to 'do what the UK had already done'.

  4. Those saying CAP reform was spiked by the UK...

Blair ties rebate talks to CAP reform

Tony Blair EU rebate 'surrender' to cost billions more than estimated

Every household in UK ended up paying £700 more for no changes to the CAP, or other reforms asked for.

  5. So lets recap
Should we let the EU believe that and repeal the 1922 act.?

  6. To put that into context. HMCand E's own report just post Thatcher , operating costs were 766.1 Million by 92-93.
2005 was the year that Cand E ceased existing. According to the report we were aiming at an exam rate of 7% of all cap goods and it was anticipated that our detection rate would rise to 10% of CAP irregularities above the 89-90 levels and we were already talking £100 million in agricultural levies.

  7. 1. Utter bollocks. The campaign was all about more money for the NHS and more prosperity away from the so called shackles of the EU. Don't pretend for a moment that the swathes of the ignorant and stupid that voted for this consciously voted to be poorer.

  9. Crock o' Leprechaun toss. You really should read things and please, please tell us where the EU comes into it?
It is "Theresa May is to offer free movement and work to Irish citizens after Brexit".
Since when has Theresa May been a part of the EU?

  10. Euros aren't "claiming" to be doing anything. This comes from the UK government if you could possibly read.

  11. Reverse toss. Crap. The Irish were already guaranteed. Moment in the UK, all she is doing is reinforcing what already exists. TMis the PM of an EU member state . We haven't left yet. She can do that, the EU can't

  12. So why try and blame the EU for doing it? You may be blinkered but at least read the thing before your buffoonery kicks in.

  13. Not sure what your point is. It appears that you're trying to refight the referendum. I'm much more interested in what we're going to do in the way for farming policy and regional aid.
