Resettlement abroad

#1
Can anyone explain how recent changes to MOD resettlement funding have effected training abroad? Can service pers train outside UK or are they trying the ol' 'you can do that in Aldershot' chestnut?

the rules actually come into force in 2007, that said, they are being a bit more select on overseas courses you can attend. I have just completed the 3 day CTW and it was all explained in that. Give your resettlement office a call they will clear it up for you. If you have a valid reason for conducting it overseas should not be a problem though will be a pain in the ar5e with paperwork justifying it.

MOD are incredibly naive to think the paltry sum of £534 will provide suitable trg/quals for something expected to provide a living after demob.
