I heard on the news earlier that 1 x dead, 2 x VSI in a crash in Bordon - whether it's REME or not, it's a nasty thing. Condolences to the dead, as for the other two - get better soon, we're short enough of Tradesmen as it is!
O God of power and might, whose all-pervading energy is
the strength of nature and man, inspire, we pray Thee, us
Thy servants of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical
Engineers with the quickening spirit of goodwill, that as
honest craftsmen, seeking only the good of all in peace or
war, we may glorify Thee both in the work of our hands
and in the example of our fellowship, through Jesus Christ

Now obviously there are the odd civvies over here but it#s a safe bet he was a squaddie in a BFG vehicle possibly heading for BDYC .

i feel for the parents, going back there were probably worried sick that one day there could be a very tiny tiny remote chance that there son's could die in Afghan. Only to be informed that they died during there Phase 2 training.. very sad really but these things happen and i only wish folk would lean from this, but they wont be the last thats for sure..
