REME Collect.

O God of power and might, whose all-pervading energy is
the strength of nature and man, inspire, we pray Thee, us
Thy servants of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical
Engineers with the quickening spirit of goodwill, that as
honest craftsmen, seeking only the good of all in peace or
war, we may glorify Thee both in the work of our hands
and in the example of our fellowship, through Jesus Christ
our Lord.

RIP Lad.

Was indeed in Bordon, a phase 2 VM from SEME, didn't know him myself but plenty of mates did.

Happened last night and we found out through our CSM this morning on parade.

RIP and lets hope the others recover fully.

I had only just read this the other day ....then yesterday on the B51 for those who don't, know it the road to the Dummersee North of Osnabrück ..I was overtaken by some lunatic doing Warp factor 5 in a silver Nissan (300 z or something )
I was about to rant about bloody German drivers when I clocked the UK plates ....... 8O
Now obviously there are the odd civvies over here but it#s a safe bet he was a squaddie in a BFG vehicle possibly heading for BDYC .

So to that end ..if you're reading this, you muppet , you might want to have a word with yourself ........... I suggest you try this one in particular .............EEJIT !!! :x

i feel for the parents, going back there were probably worried sick that one day there could be a very tiny tiny remote chance that there son's could die in Afghan. Only to be informed that they died during there Phase 2 training.. very sad really but these things happen and i only wish folk would lean from this, but they wont be the last thats for sure..

Wasn't it REME lads who were involved in a bad crash at JHQ in 94/95? I remember one lad was from Manchester died. I think there was 4or 5 of them in the car and it was just outside the camp?
