Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anyone know a good website for ordering plaques or had dealings with any firms that do it. Point me in the right direction please.

  2. Is that to buy as an individual or to have a new design made up in quantity?

  3. Between 10 -20 mate, it's for a bloke who's in an Assn and wants some made up so I told him I'd look into for him.

  4. Try Googling "Regimental Plaque" or contact the appropriate Regimental Association or Museum.

  6. Post on the Dental Corps site, they know all about Plaque.

  7. The bloke wants new ones making from scratch and wanted to know if anyone had dealings with any firms that do them, I'm sure there are good and bad firms out there, I do know how to Google for them but I was asking for personal experiences, sooner go to a firm that can make a Para Regt cap badge look like it should that one that makes it looks likes a budgies wings.

Can't speak from experience but I think that's an oficial shop and some of the profit gos to an airborne charity. OOPS No, it is none-profit making and all profit gos to an airborne charity.

    Hope it helps.

Oh, BTW. The adress and phone number is here.

You will prob need that if you want some making special.

  9. I would recommend going for the hand-painted type and not the machined plastic jobbies.
