Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Had a small claims court judgement in my favour for a 4 figure sum and the paper work has come through stating this anyone tell me the best way to go about collecting it the court hasnt given any guides etc about goin about it.
  2. Based on absolutely no personal experience whatsoever...
Having watched the TV program about The Sheriffs it would appear to be the way forward. Basically It costs £60 for a High Court Writ. They collect your spondulix and add their costs. If the sinner offers to pay well and good but if not they have significantly greater powers of entry. You are not bound to take offers of £5/month for the rest of your natural. If, of course, there are no goods to be seized then you're on a hiding to nothing.

The good news is, if they fail to get your shekels, you only have to pay a further £60 admin fee.

This advice is worth exactly what you paid for it, or a pint if you win.

    Generous to a fault, me.

use this judgement to apply for a bankruptcy , issue 21 day stat demand and see if your debtor stumps up.
