Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I have a young (18) friend who is considering Joinery as a career. Any info would be appreciated.

  2. i am currently doing my a2.....its brilliant and they have just changed the qualification to a civilian reconised one... Being a chippy is shit hot..... what you wanting to know?

  3. In the realm of the hammer wielding master race, Joinery is considered to be quite effete. It's still a noble and worthy profession, unlike plumbing or sparks.

Joiners work in sheds. Working in sheds is not good unless you own the shed.

    Think to the future.

    Hope this has helped.

    Regards

    Mick.
