Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. The Royal British Legion in Bramford, Suffolk has been threatened with closure.

In a nutshell: The RBL has been there for over 50 years. They have raised a lot of money for the RBL, H4H and others.
New people moved into the house next door to the RBL and then started to complain about the noise.

Even the local Vicar has this to say when giving evidence during an appeal hearing over a noise abatement notice, Reverend Jenny Seggar, vicar of Bramford, warned if the club folded it would be
    Fire up the Bus

Mods-if in the wrong section, please move
  2. So they keep the noise down.No big deal is it? Besides the bus is in a five mile queue for diesel.
  3. What a pair of twats, did they not think of the implications of moving next door to a pub/club?
  4. What a pair of r souls - bought the place cheap no doubt with the sole intention of kicking up a fuss..booting out the Legion and watching the house price soar as the old building gets turned into residential...despicable pair of sopping ghitcnuts
