The Corps will be taking part in the parade this year.
Any Corp member who wishes to take part should get their bids in to the Regimental Secretary soonest.

Don't worry basso, I'm not. Those who do know me know that I've done other things than just fiddle with the imprest account.

We had a bloke in the pokey in Iserlohn who was a pay Cpl and who had fiddled a few bob his name was er rehab (rehabilitation of offenders). Anyway I was an RP Lcpl at the time and had to escort him home once a week so he could shag his missus whilst he was on remand awaiting a courts matial. There would be me and the duty driver sitting downstairs in the blokes MQ, whilst he was upstairs having rumpy pumpy. I did say to the Adjutant that there would be less chance of him doing a bunk if we cut out the middle man and I went round on me own and gave her a good sorting out, but the idea didnt find favour.

There must have been something in the water at Iserlohn. I was there with 5 Inf Bde in the late fifties and one Christmas, the OC lent Jock Pirie and myself his official Volkswagen, well, sort of.
He wasn't best pleased when Jock put the little car, complete with its complement of well oiled young National Servicemen, into a lamp post.
That's the trouble with some officers, no sense of humour, though he did go on to become a General. He has Jock and myself to thank for that. I believe.

He's still looking for a few people.

I had quite a collection of RAPC go through the MCTC whilst I was there, funnily enough the pay for the staff was all done by civil servants, can't think why.

Forgive my ignorance and this is not a wah but the RAPC is AGC now isn't it so will they be marching as representative of the RAPC or AGC?

Any chance I can pick up my P45, or even P60 as they march past?

They will be marching as RAPC. RAPC are not AGC. RAPC were disbanded in 1992. There are some of us who have never been in the AGC. :D

RAPC, on a Sunday? Sorry but they'll be closed.

Is that not a bit of a contradiction putting RAPC and marching together, it’s like saying you are happily married you can either be happy or married not both.

Pay Sgt in Bosnia, very nice man!!!!!! When the building went up in flames after a heater exploded, he ran inside through the smoke and flames and got the ladds AR payment sheets from the safe! Would you call that dedication to the job or what?

That is a coincidence MT. I was forever suggesting to our pay bloke that we do something about that box of bank notes he came up with each week at pay parade. Dunno how far we would have got though, as in those days we received about 60 quid between the lot of us. Still, we would have managed a week on the p!ss.
