RAMC TA - National Units

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hope someone can help me with this. The RAMC website says that they have National Units but doesn't give any indication as to which ones are regional and which ones are national. Does anyone know which are which?

Also, anyone got any experience with the NHS as an employer and their attitude to the TA, i.e extra leave etc. With so many people being shift workers, does that present any probs with attending training nights or will units take that into account?

    Cheers!

  2. The two national RAMC(V) units are 306 Hospital Support Medical Regiment and 335 Medical Evacuation Regiment, both are based in York as said above.
