Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. From the Current Bun,,2-2004550898,,00.html

But only the British would allow this:
Pipe Major Scott Taylor followed regimental tradition by playing the bagpipes as the raid got under way.

Good Drills boys keep it and and I hope for a safe return for you all.
  2. Black Watch accomplish mission

It is widely reported that soldiers from the Black Watch stormed across the Euphrates into a suspected insurgent stronghold yesterday arresting scores of males aged 14 and above. The strike lasted 12 hours and consisted of more than 700 soldiers and 116 vehicles including 42 Warrior armoured assault vehicles. This made it one of the largest offensives launched by British soldiers since the formal end of the war in Iraq. It is possibly the last assault to be launched by the Black Watch due to Government plans to amalgamate the regiment. The area known as Karaguli is on the eastern banks of the Euphrates, due to the large houses and palm groves is also known as Millionaires row.

    More news well done boys
