An RAF Reservist set a world record time last weekend when he completed the Lochaber Marathon in full military uniform. Andy McMahon, a Children’s rights officer from Inverness, who had to wear full body armour, uniform, boots and helmet, broke the previous military kit record by more than 15 minutes when he crossed the finish line in 3:49:21; an incredible achievement, given that the helmet and body armour alone weigh around 10 pounds.

Good skills that man, and a credit to the Sqn.
  2. P0of - he should have been carrying a Jimpy as well! :D

All Crab-baiting aside, bloody good effort. Well done, that Ape. :salut:
  3. Awaits the usual baiting!
  4. Suprised he didn't do it in shorts and flip flops whilst carrying a Barrier to be more Rockape appropriate :D
  5. So what time did his Army navigator with the Teletubby themed "follow me" neon sign get ? And how heavy was that sign ?

Fair play to the guy though.
  6. Gash timings, evidently too many Subways and Burger Kings en route ! :D

    Good drills though :)
  7. Good lad - was he lugging a Yellow Samsonite suitcase as well?
  8. Well done that AUGGIE
