Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

  1. I just wanted to a mention to the team from Radio 5 Live's Drive Programme. The presenters take a couple of minutes at the end of their programme to pay tribute to any of the lads who've been killed out in Aghanistan. Peter Allen, the main presenter, has made several trips to Theatre and has put together some very good and sympathetic pieces. He reads out a number of the citations and tributes for each of the fallen and its nice to hear him use the ones from the indviduals mates and piers, rather than the politicians. It comes across as a very personal piece from the Team, and Peter in particular, and one that I just thought it was worthy of a mention. Its just a shame they have to do it so often.
  2. Fairplay to Radio 5 Live Drive. ---- Nice to see this happen.
