Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. This years Past and Present will take place on the 14th October in Aldershot. Those interested please contact the Corps RSM

More chance of knitting sawdust unless I get a prior detailed list of every creature in attendance and my own bite at the seating plan.

Cos I believe we're still RADC, or at least were and as such am a life member of the RADC Association, not that they send me anything any more!
  9. As said above, there will only be about a dozen serving members and half a dozen 'cant let it go' members there!!

Remember the one a couple of years ago when they had it the same night as the AMS P&P?!

other than that, have a good night.

When the association only choose to remain in contact with those whose face fits what do they expect?

I am not even aware of them having a website, let alone a competent person in charge.

Egads, they do have a website.......although they don't think it worthwhile spending £100 on a domain and hosting.

  11. Fantastic night - lots of people attended the most I have seen for many a years.

Mag's your after dinner entertainment was great - nice to see old acquaintances - have to say it was a passage for me - now that I am home and back in the world of Civilian life - hearing all the stories of over stretch and constant stupid requests form HQ DDS I am glad I am away from it.

Will publish more after I have gone to bed for a while
  12. did the lesbian i nailed turn up?
  13. The following has to be the best after dinner speech I have ever heard - it was given in front of all the Mess with the Director Laughing his head off.

A certain WO1 who is due out very shortly gave the following as his exit speech:

Many people are at a loss for a response when someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt".

Jack is the only son of Awe Schitt and O. Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N.Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack. In turn, JackSchitt married Noe Schitt and the deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Giva Schitt,Bull Schitt and the twins, Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her parent's objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school drop out. However, after being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced.Noe Schitt later remarried Ted Sherlock and because her kids from her first marriage were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock.

Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt and they produced a son of nervous disposition, Chicken Schitt. Two others of the six children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens wedding. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Hoarse. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.

    So, now when someone says,

    " You don't know "
    Jack Schitt,

you can correct them Brigadier ! :D
