Quotes for use in the field

Here contains a collection of quotes, feel welcome to add your own and use them in your daily life.

"It should be common sense not political correctness”
Future Emperor of India Thom
how is any of them any use in the field?
If I said any of those to my blokes they'd look at me blankly, think the boss has gone mad, shoot me in the back and get on with the job.

I'll stick with using 'two men and a wee lad' as the all-purpose quote for everything.

"Right get across that open ground like two men and a wee lad."

"You need to get over that fence like two men and a wee lad or the enemy will slot you"

Works for everything.
To necky recruits

"Who do you think you are?? ME?!?!?!?!"

Gets me every time
"With the speed of a thousand Gazelles" is another ubiquitous one, especially as you can replace "Gazelles" with any form of animal, fast or slow!

I've always been a bit worried about the old "Smart as a Carrot" comment. I mean, have you ever seen a 'smart' carrot, either aesthetically or intellectually ??
