The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
Can you fail your weekend TA selection or is it to see how much work you need.
You're probably better off putting this in the TA forum rather than the Fitness one. However, it's not a case of failing, just a case of "go away and come back in six months once you've addressed these problems".
You seem a bit nervous about the whole affair. Confidence is an important thing in the military. My advice would be to just give it your all on the day. If you do well, job done, if not just chalk it up to experience and go back once you've got yourself in shape.
Ive known one person to fail selection.
During the group interview he was asked why he wanted to join the TA and he said it was because he likes guns
There has to be something seriously wrong with you to fail.
It was you wasn't it
P.S. I like guns...
That is not the attitude to have. Even if they are just assessing you.
Go with the mindset of giving 100%.
Then whatever the outcome you know you have done your very best.
Although I think my pink thong and nipple clamps might have had something to do with it too
- edited for mongness
Is that NOT the uniform then???? BUGGER!!!
They sent three people home from our selection medical for walking on the run. I'm not sure if it was because they couldn't run 1.5 miles, or because they couldn't follow the simple order "run".
Anyway. They went away and have not come back.
