Quick question

I worked for a company for a very short time(2weeks and 3 days) was made an offer I couldnt refuse and left.
When I handed in my resignation HR person said its a waste of time working notice and I agreed.
Now they will not pay me wages owed amounting to well over a grand.
How do I go about getting my wages?
How much notice were you required to give on your contract? If it's more than you gave them, you get nothing
By not paying you they are in Breach Of Contract
By not working your Notice Period you are in Breach of Contract (unless HR have given you it in writing that you can 'skip' your notice period)

As Jarrod says if you are in a Union get on to them. If not Employment Tribunal, the Company will normally pay up rather than risk a finding against them.
