Andrew Neil destroys Pro EU journalist on BBC`s `This Week` - 4th July 2019

How many chins can you count? Ear looks weird too.

Another Fatty telling us how to live - Lady Nugee's sister?

Well done Flint, Neil and Portillo for attacking & shredding her blinkered EU worship

Like Corbyn socialists she is wealthy and knows the EU socialist, green agenda will not affect her - but forgets "until they come for me"

Worth watching entire segment to fully see how deluded Bénédicte Paviot is:

BBC This Week 04 July 2019

Weekend Facepalm Humour

Fat eejit believes water vanishes if it is consumed or "wasted" - is Musk sending rocket loads of water to Mars?

BBC No Offence But… The Meat Industry is Killing the Planet

Is she the reason Army Air Corps Officer told his fat soldiers: "eat less, move more and avoid beige food"?

More evidence if needed that UK Schools don't teach facts, they promote Green SJW agenda.

I just watched the cringeworthy rerun of Paviot being demolished by Neil and Portillo. Excellent viewing but the dumb stuck up cow made it quite easy for them as she found it impossible to answer the straight forward question that Brillo put to her time and time again. She’s obviously far from dumb but it was embarrassing just listening to her inane drivel.
I quite liked Portillos reasoning for saying why it wasn’t ‘rude’ for the Brexit mob to turn their backs during the playing of the EU anthem
Cheers all!

Yep, Portillo was good, but Harwood on QT nailed it:
Britain is not party to Article 52 of the Lisbon Treaty in which the flag and anthem were established

Channel 4 Dispatches tonight: Battle for the Tory Party

They repeatedly emphasised Tory members electing new leader and probable PM are 97% white and "wealthy", but never a "compared to Labour/Lib/SNP" etc.

Some bias by omission? What about the other parties?

Labour is as white and wealthy as the terrible Tories
" That 97 per cent figure, much quoted by the BBC, prompted me to find the source of it – and PM’s citing of Queen Mary, University of London helped me.

And what an eye-opener ‘Grassroots’, their analysis of British political party membership, is!

Yes, it does find that Conservative Party members are 97 per cent white, but it also finds that the SNP is similarly 97 per cent white, that the Labour Party is 96 per cent white and the Lib Dems are 96 per cent white.

The Lib Dems turn out to be even more middle-class than the Conservatives, with Labour over three-quarters middle-class too.

Which all raises the question of why are we getting BBC news bulletins (like Saturday’s BBC One News at Six), BBC reporters such as Matthew Price and PM hosts such as Caroline Wyatt and so on making so much of the ‘whiteness’ and ‘wealthiness’ of the Tory Party membership when all the other big parties’ memberships are just as white and roughly as wealthy?

And, not to be self-promoting (something it’s usually hard to accuse us of!) why is this tiny, unfunded two-person blog able to find this out – and point it out – while the massively-funded BBC simply just parrots it about the Tories without mentioning the figures for the other parties?

I’m so glad I listened to PM tonight. I feel as if I’ve busted an endlessly-parroted Big Lie
."

Ah, now the bias by omission reason revealed

.
Monday giggle Rory Stewart, the surprise star

No Question Time this Thursday, (replaced by "Too Gay for God?") so This Week will be at the slightly earlier time of 23:15. As usual it's too early for the line up on the main page. However I found this on the Twitter page: July 11 11.15pm @afneil #choochoo #fourpercent #sheslovely

That suggests Michael Portillo, Liz Kendall and Miranda Green for starters. I wonder how Liz will respond to the Panorama feature on Labour racism? Credit to BBC for that investigation.

"It's their final pairing on the #bbctw sofa for Liz and Michael on July 11 (11.15pm), which will be our last live programme from the Westminster studio Both will be back for our finale, along with special guests, coming from a different location on July 18 (from 11.20pm)"

July 18 11.20pm @afneil #choochoo #manontheleft #sheslovely (and more guests TBC)
Great, that means Michael Portillo, Alan Johnson and Miranda Green.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ETA - Tonight's line up has now been published:

Andrew Neil reviews the political week with Michael Portillo, Liz Kendall and Miranda Green, while Gyles Brandreth has the political headlines in a film.

Their guests are Jonathan Powell on the disintegration of politics and institutions, while David Gower talks defeat in the spotlight section.

No QT, but we did have Panorama Is Labour Anti Semitic? - yesterday - yes, yes, there probably is a thread, but some of us don't live on Arrse

Labour isn’t condemning anti-Semites, it’s courting them
"...On Radio 4’s Today programme this morning, Tom Watson, Labour’s deputy leader, had to confess to Justin Webb that he had been formally excluded by the Corbyn politburo from any access to any membership issues. While he had a lot to say on what should be done and who should do it, he has tacitly admitted he has no authority to drive change. In fact the only way that Labour has been forced to discipline its most prominent anti-Semitic members is by Watson leading a revolt of MPs, presumably threatening to leave the party and form another grouping. Watson had to admit that he has no influence in the party on this matter, stating that the only person who could root out anti-Semitism in Labour was in fact the facilitator of anti-Semitism in Labour, Jeremy Corbyn.

One would imagine that Watson’s admission that his role is meaningless would make him feel humiliated and angry, but he did not sound so. One might also wonder why he does not resign on principle. But interviewer Justin Webb did not ask him.

Previously, in place of a party official, a Labour-supporting proxy in the form of the Guardian’s Dawn Foster was rolled out to state the party line. Presumably when this useful idiot spoke, it would have been possible to see Seumas Milne’s lips move. Foster tried to play down the abuse as a ‘handful of cases’. But Foster had nothing to say about why a statutory investigation was being mounted by the Equalities and Human Rights Commission over what she stated was a small number of cases, but that was because the interviewer, Mishal Husain, like Justin Webb, did not think to ask this obvious question....
"

UK population: Jews vs RoPs - vote numbers is all Labour care about and they know >90% of Lab Jews will never vote Conservative - they'll vote Green, Lib or not vote.

This Week's opening theme = Titanic, doom and political driftwood

Andrew starts with a sarcastic rebuttal of conspiracy theorists accusations of political bias and says he's even served Molly the dog an NDA. Michael's highlight was JC. Labour and anti-Semitism. Liz's highlight was same sex and abortion rights in N.I.

Jonathan Powell (Tony Blar's Chief of Staff) does his take of the week and draws parallels with 1930s Germany. He says we are particularly vulnerable due to lack of a written constitution and proposes a government of national unity. Andrew suggests he may be guilty of Godwin's Law. Powell referred to a potential coalition with UKIP before being corrected re Brexit Party. Andrew asks if he has been struck down with Brexit Derangement Syndrome. Michael points out that to the best of his knowledge Nigel Farage is not a racist. He finds Jonathan Powell's thinking to be worrying and nonsense. Andrew points out that countries in the EU which do have written constitutions are also rife with populism. He is demolishing Powell's arguments with hard facts.

AN says Nigel is saying he can be useful in Washington - "So is a bog brush". He will no doubt still be accused of pro-Brexit bias.

Giles Brandreth does the round up of the week.

Andrew now turn's to Liz and asks about Corbyn, his inner circle and asks if they are anti-semitic..
She doesn't believe Corbyn is anti-semitic, didn't answer the question about the inner circle and seemed to be going down the road of anti-Israel policy being confused with anti-semitism. She says she has not witnessed anti-semitism in the party, other than the documentary last night, though she believes it is a problem.

Like we will get a straight answer! Of course; we didn’t. As Brillo kicking her flaps in, testifies.
