Question Time Commentary

Serves the fekker right and about time too. I watched it last night and saw the effete scumbag get a severe mauling and then have his arrse served on a plate courtesy of MP and AN. Either of them could have done it alone with one hand tied behind their back, which might habe been kinder to be honest, but together they made sure the gobby little burglar will be nursing his tattered ego and credibility this morning in the warm darkness of his safe space.

Makes no odds to Jones. He just takes their angry rebukes as evidence that he is right and they are the right wing enemy of all that is pure and sacred about his hallowed communism. It is a religious cult of sorts.

Yep.
It's as if he does it deliberately to provoke people and then sits back with a smug look on his face.
One day somebody will think it is worth going to court, and will punch his lights out.

I expect that they will find themselves in a rather long queue.

Back to the QT and the new chairthing. I think that Fiona Bruce did a very good job. Being her first appearance, she would have been under some considerable pressure, but she got stuck in and showed that she wasn't there for ornamental purposes. An encouraging start. It wouldn't have been beyond the BBC to have selected a Zoe Ball or a Grace Dent.

I rather believe that Dimbleby was in the harness for rather too long and being part of the revered Dimbleby dynasty, nobody wanted to be the one to tell him that it was time to move on. He had become complacent and intellectually flabby and appeared to be somewhat wrapped up in his own image and his position as elder statesman of the BBC. The Robin Day syndrome.

Now if only they could do something about the 'audience selected entirely at random'. The BBC are probably the only people who could fill up a studio in Clacton with pro-remain liberal-lefties about a week after UKIP had won the local parliamentary seat.

There did seem to be more 'leavers' than usual, but they were still outnumbered.
Who is Grace Dent?

QT .... FB not too bad - I think the soft speech was to quieten the harridens on the panel. As per bloody usual ET got more than her share of wibble. Cleverley was poor. Melanie spoke sense throughout but hardly got a look in.

As for TW ... Owen should have been kicked out before now for not listening to others.

Jones really has no sense of irony, maybe no self awareness either. He makes a film whining about people being called Nazis, them describes people who don't like him as fascists. You really couldn't make it up.

It's worse than that :)
He called that exact same group knuckle dragging fascists on Monday or Tuesday (can't remember which) and was picked up on the fact he was doing exactly the same as the protesters by calling people fascists.

Isn't Marxism the way of the future? Despite its failure in Russia, and everywhere else it's been tried, it retains a semi-mystical allure for people who espouse beards, sandals and glasses.

These people, even though idiots, should not be treated lightly. They can destroy us all through their stupidity
I read somewhere, and I paraphrase ,"Socialism is an eternal evil. You can destroy it periodically, but you can't kill it. It has to be defeated afresh with each generation."

Today I was listening to James O'Brien on LBC while out running (It is a much better mental distraction than music). He is deliberately provocative, but very good at it, which is why he has that show. He is an out and out socialist as well as being 100% anti-brexit. It may be to keep his ratings up, but I actually think he believes all he says. Anyway, he came up with a 'new analogy' which he could apply to leavers and remainers. The leavers are a stupid person who goes for a swim in water beyond their capabilities. The remainer is the right-thinking, heroic rescuer saving them from certain doom. The leaver, acting in accordance with the stereotypical drowning person, fights the rescuer as he has become desperate. I couldn't help thinking that the analogy works in both directions. Either leaver or remainer could be rescuer or rescuee. That, or it's just a really poor analogy.

buying toblerones?

Was that supposed to be an EU reference?
She didn't climb Labour's greasy pole by having knowledge & common sense.

Being pissed on live TV an apt example.

Toblerone? She's fixated on them, eats dozens every day - all on expenses.

"I'm an NHS Doctor".
"...and my Husband's an Inspector in MET plod"

Has she asked him "Is it normal & legal for a 14 year old "child" to be riding "his" moped on the streets of London?

Has Sad Dick Khant changed the law?"
