Punsihment within a Regiment

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Is the correct term on punishment being hand down "Do you accept my award?"
  2. If you're hoping to get out of it on a technicality...
  3. Nah - you will already have been a copy of your rights anyway and that says what the score is. In some instances the big man needs to give you the option of electing trial by court martial but not always, such as AGAI action.
  4. Fortunately all things of this nature are well behind me. They can't get me now (looking nervously over my shoulder)

What I am trying to get right is the wording for when some one has been told to get out and cut the grass with nail clippers and /or whitewash the snow.
So would "Do you accept my award" be right?
