Some people jump to conclusions (Whiskeybreath) that's how nasty rumours start! I was never in the RMPs I was always Int (well after UDR ) however as was remarked before (Devexwarrior) the RMPs looked after me very well in Herford, regularly picking me up from town when I was under the weather, and sometimes depositing me in one of their bunks! Was very good friends with one guy there who is now in the Invictus choir - in a wheelchair, Club Colibri was regularly frequented socially by the more discerning and sophisticated military personnel.

Far too late to get in your excuses, justifications and claims of unconsciousness. I knew an RMP lady or two (it certainly felt like a multiple), and they took few prisoners. Parts of me remain numb.

To be entirely fair, those parts of the @Whiskybreath anatomy weren't that sensitive before.

My heart; my heart was broken. The bloody cow was a Jersey and I was an Angus. The twain shall never mix - ask any farmer.
A farmer would tell me that science was my friend here. I wonder you didn't consider more technical measures.

Hard enough handcuffing the brute to a single-soldier bedstead without having to apply a turkey baster too. A chap has his limits. That WCpl featured in the 176 Pro Coy video which I've mentioned in these parts before; how the OC's home furniture withstood such an assault is a testament to sturdy British carpentry.

Pah, she was clearly a pale shadow of the real and terrifying WRAC Provost specialists of 247 Provost Compamy, who'd find solid steel industrial plant furniture no hindrance to their dreams of illicit passion with such a nice young man as @Whiskybreath was in his youth (although it must be admitted that the majority of these impressive young women tended to catch the bus around the corner).

2 para were posted to Ternhill in the late 80s, I seem to recall this was a punishment posting, can’t remember where I heard this from.

Anyone who has been there.

2 PARA were in the process of handing over Clive Barracks on 20 Feb 89. Odd how certain dates stick in the memory :)

I know they were based there, as my dad was posted out so didn’t have to go there. I meant I’m not sure why it was supposedly a punishment posting for them, considering Aldershot was the home of the brigade.

It might have been a punishment posting unless you knew there was an Agricultural College just down the road. The RA certainly did, that was where one of the ASU was studying !

I thought he studied at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester?
Nope, Sub is right. Harper Adams agricultural college near Telford. The ballbag in question was studying animal husbandry.

I laid on a "battlefield tour" of the attack, when I was based in Shrewsbury Security Section in the mid-90s. Spent about six months researching it.

My dear chap, there's no way the (now) RAU would ever accommodate a terrorist, they couldn't possibly afford it.

UCAS forms? For Cirencester? Never. You get a place if someone knows your people. Or if you're a very, very, very well-off Johnny Foreigner. There's even a couple of lodges on campus where the CP details can stay while their principal attends the occasional lecture.

They're not the only ones.
