  1. The question is a simple one:

Do we the British Forces be it Army, RAF or Navy enjoy the 100% support from the general public ?

If yes then give examples of support you have received from the general public.

If No then give any areas or ideas that you feel would help us the Brit "Tommy" to improve our status within the general community !

Vicious - I am surprised that you think that the majority of the Armed Forces are overpaid...... only in the PQO streams chum.

The answer to your question is undoubtedly - no, the general public does not 100% support the Armed Forces or their would be lots of military hospitals and a veterans system comparable to that of the US. Further, their would be outcry at the fact that the Armed Forces is at its lowest numbers in history, whilst maintaining high level of tempo on 2 medium ops and several small ops.

    Stupid question.
  3. Um, if your intention is for this to be a serious poll / debate, you might want to re-think your poll options and include one along the lines of the general public being apathetic and having more things to worry about than whether the Armed Forces are having a rough ride.
  4. By more things to worry about, do you mean Big Brother?
  5. But of course...
  6. Agree with Dozy, the options arent very good.

In my opinion the public are undeducated on the army. They just dont know or understand.

No more than we are about firefighters, police, librarians, MI5, physiotherapists, nuclear scientists or test pilots. Silly question really.
  8. Agree with the most recent posts, options should have been considered more carefully. It would then not have been so easy, to think buffoon for stating the bleeding obvious. :geek:
  9. I believe the General public does support the services. The problem they have is that the forces were used by the labour goverment to enforce an unpopular foriegn policy dictated to Britain by the bush b-liar coupling (pair of cnuts). What would you actually like to see or do regard as support. and by the way your choices are rubbish
