Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. May I ask whether anyone in arrse knows anything about this chap?

I've been asked to take part in a study (apparently I'm supposed to be the sane one in the control group.) I can see from google that he's written extensively about Military Mental Health and Gulf War syndrome.

Does the extensive knowledge of arrse give him the thumbs up, or would I be wasting a morning by joining in.

  2. I know Matthew. He is a totally decent bloke and bright as a button. Also, he is a great supporter of the Armed Forces and some of his studies have resulted in positive policy changes, for instance, King's research suggested that Reserves were more at risk following deployment and this in part prompted a re-think on how Reserve Forces are managed. There are lots of other examples of where King's have made a difference and Matthew is usually involved in some way. Take part in the study!! :D

    Hope that this helps.

  3. Many Thanks.
