Problem posting HTML tables

#1
Simple question:
Are there any known 'special features' meant is mistakes of the board relating to HTML codes ??

Posting an HTML table will look fine in the Preview, but the moment you submit the table,
you end up with something like 20 blank lines first.
I know it could be worse, still it would be great if something could be done about it. :)

Oh, and any other HTML code the board does not understand ??
I already know about < blockquote > and < th >.
Whereas the second is worse, cause usually you need it for tables. ;)

Thx for an answer.

I just found something out ... and I wouldn't call these good news. 8O

The longer the table gets ... the more blank lines are there above.
So, by now the table looks fantastic ... I'd say it's 2 blank lines for every table row.

To save everyone from buying a new mouse (after scrolling for 1.5 hours), is there any magic you could do about it ??

Pretty please.

If it wasn't for charity I'd tell you to stick your long html tables.... :)

Anyway, now sorted. The software isn't very good at interpreting html mixed up with normal post content so you end up with all the newlines you put in between your tags as blank space 'normal' newlines. All you need to do is cut out tat extra white space. I've done it for you and broken one of your text lines that was making the whole thing too wide for the page.

Thank you for doing so, boss. :)

And I'll put everything else in one other post now, so nothing but the table in it.
I hope this way it won't act up again. ;)
