Probably the best Advert in history NSFW

#2
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that this is slightly more than probably NSFW.

Good find anyway - I shall be watching as much TV as possible to try and see it in full screen glory.

round about the time of Kevin Costner's "Robin Hood" and the cracking song by Bryan Adams(!), Weetabix brought out an ad where Robin Hood was about to attack the Sheriff of Nottingham at the castle. Robin Hood sees the sheriff eating Weetabix and has 2nd thoughts.

A cracking little bit of internet advertising.

Robin Hood Robin Hood spies the weetabix

Back to Sherwood?

Robib Hood, Robin Hood, riding throught the glen!

Robin Hood, Robin Hood, with his Merry Men!

Feared by the bad, loved by the good

Robin Hood! Robin Hood! Robin Hood!

Robin Hood, Robin Hood could be in a fix...

Robin Hood, Robin Hood spies the Weetabix...

Should he retreat...back to Sherwood?

Course he should! Course he should!

Funniest bit was the smug, come-and-have-a-go-if-you-think-you're-hard-enough look on the Sheriff's face as he eats the Weetabix and waits for Robin...

Many eons ago there was a beer advert with a Flashman type drinking a fine ale always one upping a native type Abdul the Bull?

Can't remember the beer, but the tag line was The best, best needs no ettiquette

Can't find it, but my favourite was the John West Salmon advert where a bloke fights with a bear for a salmon the bear has just caught.

Makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

remember those Holsten Pils ads in the 1980s, with Griff Rhys Jones inserted into those old black and white film clips?.

Depth charge goes off the back of the ship.

"That's right! Send em down some of the draught lager Wally!"

Superb.

The Guinness White Horses surfer advert. A personal favourite.

"Here's To You, Ahab! Here's to your dream..."
