Priti Patel the new Home Sec wants to hang crims, lots of them.

I heard that they had to cut The Yemen foreign aid bill in half, to pay for all Patel’s bullying payouts and legal fees.

The total secrecy with which Patel’s case has been dealt with is in complete contradiction to that which Sturgeon’s case is currently being given.

Interesting.
Only to you darling, only to you

No you didn't.

And yet once again more taxpayers hush money given out to spare her. Obviously plenty that they didn’t want to see the light of day.

Much easier to “spaff” more of our money than do the right thing.

Yes, a pity the right thing wasn’t done.

The whining long term failure of a senior civil servant should have been sacked long before he started crying because Priti told him to do his job........that he was being handsomely paid for.

She didn’t though and now the taxpayer is covering for her incompetence.

To be honest, expenditure of any amount of money from tinfoil-inspired "secret hush funds" is worth every penny to keep Wozo chewing the carpet. And it makes a change for it not to be Boris-based wibble. Not much of one, but enough to count as progress on Wozo's mental health plan.

You can be such an utter bigot and dullard.

Priti wasn’t even in government for the vast majority of his time in the CS, and when he was failing.

Perhaps you think she should have sacked him BEFORE she was ever his boss.

Oh dear
We will never know that, they won’t want the embarrassment of a figure being known. It’s probably from a hush money fund that they write off to protect wrong doers.
"Sources close to Sir Philip confirmed to BBC Radio 4's PM that he received £340,000 plus his legal costs."
So around 2 years pay.
"The former official was earning more than £150,000 a year as Home Office permanent secretary"
Not exactly an earth shattering amount then, given those figures.

To be honest, it’s well worth the cash to get rid of him imho.
It would have cost the country more to keep him in his job.
He seemed to ‘learn’ how to be a crap CS during the years Labour were in government, and couldn’t cope with a new boss who was a. a woman and b. expected him to earn his pay.

There is a strange irony that any poster on a military themed website would deem a boss ‘incompetent’ for shouting at a subordinate...............

Perhaps they were that ONE’ single recruit who was never shouted at, never had to man up...........And was brought breakfast in bed every day by the RSM ;)

The only real difference is the Boris grrr factor, otherwise, it seems a pretty standard agreement

I didn’t say it was secret, any organisation will have a contingency fund for litigation and legal fees. It just appears that Patel has had to dip into it a couple of times at the taxpayers expense.

Tell me what you know about his incompetence then.

No one else saw fit to sack or discipline him and the serial bully Patel seems to be the only one that had a problem with him and didn’t deal with it correctly. And has subsequently had to pay out taxpayer money to him out of court

You obviously know about his history, let us know.
