Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hello There, My computer will print fine from a word document but for some reason will not print internet pages i.e. aa routefinder. It just prints out pages and pages of writing which resembles nothing that I have see before.
I have reinstalled Javascript and the printer drivers but no luck.

    Can anyone help???
  2. File, then click print?
Or try reboot, works for most things ;)

  3. What browser are you using? if you're using IE7, highlight what you want to print, click on the print icon and click on print preview. From there you can get rid of the header/footer, adjust the margins and print just what you've selected.
  4. Another way is to mouse select the details you want, e.g. route directions and overview map, then select form the menu - 'File', 'Print...', click 'Selection', 'Print'

This resolves the problem of web pages not formatting for printing, some sites have button for 'printable version'.

If neither method works highlight what you want and copy to Word. This should sort the printing and also let you format if necessary to get a decent route page.
