Printing/embroiderig on Helly Hansens

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I've been dicked with organising unit T-shirts, and asking around, there seemed to be a lot of enthusiasm for having unit Helly Hansens in OG. A quick trip to my local HH shop has the Shirts sorted for a good price, but I am not sure if printing on them is going to be possible. Obviously, I want a process that is not going to retard the wicking and stretching qualities, and I am wary of embroidery on the grounds of possible chafage. Are there any companies that specialise in personalising "technical" clothing? Or has anyone been down this route before?

He's a helpful bugger and can accommodate most embroidery requests, I've not heard of any problems with any of his kit with regard to chafing.
Besides, as an ex-serviceman it keeps things 'in-house,' and if he really can't help he's likely to be able to give you another address run by ex-forces types.
  3. Since leaving the forces this is my business,, and embroidery should not be a problem on these garments.

If you want to give me the reference number of the garment I can tell you exactly.
