can anyone remind me of prewar
Which war would that be pre. To a lot of us oldies that'll probably be WW2, then the slightly less oldies will think the Korean (even though it was only a police action) we then have Malaya,Aden,Suez, Cyprus, NI, Falklands and sundry other skirmishes in between. I'm well aware that at the moment the forces are going through a hell of a time but you aren't the first and definitely won't be the last. Just keep your head down, watch your mates back and look forward to Post War.

1939- Germany were thinking about an extended tour into Poland?
1950- north Koreans were thinking about an extended tour into south Korea?
1954- North Vietnam decided it was about time they booted out the French?
1967- Half the Arab nations think it's time to sort out those pesky Isrealis?
1982- Dear old Maggie needs a re-election, time for a trip down south?
1990- Those tiresome Iraqis are saber rattling, send in the troops?
2001-Bush and co were thinking of going on an extended tour into the middle east?

Take your pick mate, which war is it?

I think you may be thinking of an O Group.
Isn't it incorporated into the P of PREWAR as the ICs brief? Not that I'd know anyway, but....

(to be honest just wanted to throw another acronym at him :p )

Buggered up my post!

I thought this was refering to when kids had: rickettes, T.B, diptheria, rubella, whooping cough, measles, polio, tapeworms and other assorted ailments ....not all at the same time of course...you only got the rest if you survived the first.

At least we had sunny days!

Oi Nobby

Loose lips sink ships. Next he'll be asking what the antennae are attatched to. Don't be telling him about our pheasanty/grousy eating traditions!
