Press release: G7 Foreign Ministers’ statement on the announcement of the death of Jamal Khashoggi

#1
The G7 Foreign Ministers said:

The G7 Foreign Ministers, of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and the High Representative of the European Union, condemn in the strongest possible terms the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed took place in its consulate in Istanbul.

The confirmation of Mr Jamal Khashoggi’s death is a first step toward full transparency and accountability. However, the explanations offered leave many questions unanswered.

We reiterate our expectation for a thorough, credible, transparent, and prompt investigation by Saudi Arabia, in full collaboration with the Turkish authorities, and a full and rigorous accounting of the circumstances surrounding Mr Khashoggi’s death. Those responsible for the killing must be held to account. Saudi Arabia must put in place measures to ensure something like this can never happen again.

The circumstances of Mr Khashoggi’s death reaffirm the need to protect journalists and freedom of expression around the world.

We also extend our deepest condolences to Mr Khashoggi’s family, his fiancée, and his friends.

As I understand there will be no any sanctions against the KSA or Saudi officials.
Yes, there are realities and they have to be taken into account.

#4
Putin must be a little put out by that, in view of the sanctions applied to Russia.
Indeed, so many countries expelled Russian diplomats just because of allegations. By contrast, in the case with Khashoggi the KSA recognised that initial allegations are correct but hardly any Saudi diplomat would be expelled. Anyway such a possibility is not mentioned in the joint statement.
Though there is nothing new with double standards.

"allegations"? By God, you've got some neck!

If you and the other trolls don't realise the difference between the use of a nerve agent, injuring British citizens and killing them on British soil as well as the target(s) and frankly leaving nerve agent all over the place and the death of a Saudi journalist..........
Though there is nothing new with double standards.

Still they are just allegations and scheme of poisoning sounded by the police is implausible.
And who was killed after order issued by the authorities?
Btw, journalists in Slovakia, in Bulagaria were killed recently. Do you think that respective governments are responsible?
By contrast the case with Khashoggi is absolutely clear.

Russia used a nerve agent on UK soil. No ifs or buts.
YOU support the murder of innocent people, including little kids.

Yet nothing will happen , we all know it. They have the oil, and own a lot of a lot like a lot of London. They have the oil , we need the oil , they know we need the oil.

Just look at the pictures from SA of the son of the murdered reporter having to “ meet” the man who ordered the murder of his father.

Nothing like a

“ Get in there and have a photo or a lot worse will happen to you and yours”

Like the World leaders don’t know this but still put up a tweet or internet statement that “ we will do something, in the strongest terms......”

I've told you KGBs. you've been using that bollocks to divert attention from multiple Russian crimes for the past decade....FFS, get a new script, read your hand-over notes, get your hair cut, stand-up straight. Try plugging in the iron next time, stand closer to the razor. You are all a disgrace to the St Petersburg Institute

The KGBs group's Annual Assesment is 2:2,* (out of a possible 6:6) Unlikely to become fit for promotion (SNLR for you pongo types)

*I'm giving you a "2" because I've never seen a "1" before.....

Today there was a piece about John "ned flanders" Bolten sat at a table meeting President Putin, it showed Putin actually laughing in the face of the American delegation, he looked in total control of that room, the Americans have become a complete laughing stock it has been almost completely check mated around the world i would not be surprised to see the Iranians walking into Yemen next week as "saviours" of the Yemeni people, i can see it now them handing out food parcels to starving kids.

The American empire is all but over, No one knows how this will end now.

Sadly we and the rest of the world knows this.

As long as everything is going well and bigger biggly it’s OK.

Remember most of them dont even know there is a world on the other side of their borders.

The odd thing in all this is that Putin is presiding over a country that is on its arrse but he clearly has a world strategy but Trump is presiding over a nation that is doing well but he clearly has zero world plan, which is playing nicely into the hands of the chinese who have BOTH.

Only if you consider Putin's plan is "make Russia a pariah state ASAP".
