  1. Next week I have to present a cap badge to somebody quite important. I have been given the badge previously to shine up which I have now done to a good standard however I dont want to just hand the badge over to someone as is, i.e just put the badge in their hand. Has anyone ever done something like this? Looking for ideas as to how to hand it over i.e a box, a plaque etc whilst still being able to use it a cap badge if possible.
The cap badge has very high sentimental value to the person who it is getting handed to.

    Cheers

  2. jewel box with padding

  3. Framed perhaps, with a brief history of the Corps/Regiment it represents?

  4. In a little picture frame thing and mounted on a backing of Regimental coloured velvet?

  5. I use frame boxes like this one from ebay.

Dependant upon fixing (slide, lug etc) then I use polystyrene covered with felt to ensure it fits properly.

    Good luck.

PS - am sure there are folks out there who would mount it professionally for you.

  6. If you've got the time, something like this always looks nice.
