  1. Hi all,
    Does anyone know if the prc 351 has a auto atu built in s it covers quite a large frequency span..?????

  2. It can be used alone but when in close proximity to another one you can add the SURF 4W to reduce the chances of interference and the radio 'swanning off' frequency. Perfectly fine to use on its own though, well as perfectly fine as a 351 is i suppose.
  3. There's some (very basic) antenna matching built in, but nothing serious.

    <spotter mode on>
    When in a vehicle clip-in kit (i.e. as a VRC351), it would be used with an ARFAT to drive the TUAMM, which would properly match it to the vehicle whip.
    <spotter mode off>
  4. ... or even a TUAAM ...
  5. Arfat for VRC353, i box for 351/2.
  6. I thought it was called "Touch Yourself".

    Private joke, but still makes me snigger.
  7. Okay thanks all for info......pity its not 12.5 steps..nice radio though must have cost uk govt a lot...
