Practising hurdles for AOSB.

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Jumping is not something I have any particular natural talent at, so some hard work is going to be neccessary to give AOSB a good shot.

After thinking of some really silly ideas, such as crafting my own hurdles, I realised that our washing line is a pretty good bet.

I was pleasantly suprised to clear around 1 metre by using a tuck jump technique, which was more than I expected.

How high are these two hurdles?

Any further information on the long jump would also be appreciated.
  2. Lots and lots of questions on this subject in the Regular Officer Recruiting forum.
  3. Recruiting is a sub forum (look near top of page - took me a while to notice it!)

    Try tennis nets.
  4. Great - I was confused about the distinction between the 'Officer's' and the 'Officer's Recruiting' forums. Thanks.
