Posting to cyrpus - july 08

Ay up lads/lass's,

Posting order just came through on the ol' JPA. Am going to Cyprus to work in HQBF to work in the J2 side............Im a LCpl with AGC and just want to know what its like...any tips or things i should know about either the job or being posted there?

The first thing you need to realise is that this particular forum is for civilian jobs.

At a wild guess (LCpl in the AGC) you are military, albeit in a very watered down sense as you are a bloke doing a bird's job - secretary.

The only tip I can issue with is do not talk to the proper soldiers as they will pan your ******* face in.

Apologies for posting in the wrong area...and as for the comment about my job, its easier to say that sort of sterotypical shite, than to actually do it. I do alot more in my job that is required of me, and i have alot of respect from the lads in the infantry that i currently work with, as i can do there job as well as my own.
