Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong, and it is only a little thing but the posting times on the home page are an hour behind.

Just a little thing but I thought You'd want to know.

Are you anywhere else but UK
  3. Nope just outside of Aldershot
  4. Hasn't this been discussed already? The front page is an hour behind but all the posts are correct, if you're changed your settings to GMT+ 1

It has been discussed a lot of times. All times are in GMT or as you have it set. Good CO shouts "do a search before posting"!, but I have to admit that it's one that should be added to the FAQ as it's not obvious. I'll do that now.
  6. Sorry it's always been ok then after I logged back in this morning it wasn't, I just thought it might be related.

  7. Just think ZULU time, it's what we army types work on.

OK - I'll check. I may have screwed something up. If so, sorry!

I've added this to the site FAQs in the wiki.

Server clock says 1611 BST as I post this, and my account is on GMT+1 and the post time is about the same - so it's right, no?

  11. And your posted time reads 3:11 p.m. Boss.

I've noticed this too. A lot of post times seem 1 or 2 hourse behind UK local time.

I don't mind personally, I've always been a backwards little git
  12. Yep. site's working zulu! My last was at 16xx not 15xx
  13. Phew I thought it was just me being a mong!!
  14. Rest assured, it's not you.... but you may still be a mong!
  15. Hmmm ... Fair One !! :D
